Built to last

What a cheap vinyl fence skips, we don't

Most vinyl fence problems start where you can't see them: posts that shift, rails that sag, gates that drag. Here's how every Northwest vinyl fence is built.

  1. 1

    Posts set in concrete

Every post is set in a concrete footing, [POST DEPTH] deep, so the fence stays straight through Chicago freeze-thaw.

  2. 2

    Reinforced rails and gate posts

Aluminum-reinforced rails and steel-reinforced gate posts stop the sagging and dragging that cheaper vinyl gates are known for.

  3. 3

    Thicker vinyl than budget brands

Heavier panels resist cracking and warping, and hold their shape year after year.

Vinyl backed by a lifetime manufacturer warranty on materials, plus 3 years on labor. Gates: 1-year warranty.

Vinyl FAQ

Questions homeowners ask about vinyl

Does vinyl hold up in Chicago winters?

Yes. Quality vinyl with reinforced rails and posts set in concrete handles freeze-thaw cycles well. One honest caveat: very cold vinyl can crack from a hard impact, like a snowblower or a thrown shovel, so give it a little room when you clear snow.

How do I clean it? Will it turn yellow?

A garden hose and mild soap handle most dirt; a magic eraser takes care of scuffs. The vinyl we install has UV protection to resist yellowing, and it's backed by a lifetime manufacturer warranty on materials.

What maintenance does a vinyl fence need?

An occasional wash. That's it. No staining, sealing or painting, ever, which is why vinyl costs more upfront and less to own.

What heights can I get, and do I need a permit?

We install vinyl at 4, 5 and 6 feet. Most Chicagoland towns require a permit and limit backyard fences to 6 feet. Send us your plat survey and we'll handle the permit and paperwork for you.
